This primula grows along streamsides in its native japan. It is pink with a dark eye.
Sowing advice
Sow in summer and autumn.Sow in pots or trays. Sow onto moist seed raising mix. Do not cover as light is needed for germination. Water from the bottom of pots to avoid disturbing the seed. Keep moist but not waterlogged. Ideal temp18- 20 deg C. If germoination does not occur wirhin 4 weeks, enclose the tray in a sealed plastic bag and putinto the fridge for 4 weeks. After this remove the plastic and bring out to the warmth. Keep moist.
