This is an ornamental grass whose plumes commence as a greenish cream and then mature to a pinky buff brown colour. It is an annual grass , which looks good in border edgings and is especially loved as a cut flower, which dries very well and lasts for longer than other dried grasses.
Sowing advice
Sow in spring .Grow in trays or sow direct
Sow on the surface of moist well prepared soil or seed raising mix. Cover very lightly with mx, as light is needed for germination. Propagate at approx. 20 deg C. Keep moist but do not waterlog. Germination should take place in approx 10-12 days.
