This Atriplex has ruby blushed , gold leaves with magenta stems, which makes them a very attractive garden foliage plant as they grow. And then come the seed heads. They are a stunning ruby and gold which makes them perfect for bouquet fillers, as well as making a very attractive border filler, and they can be dried to make excellent additions to the dried floral arrangement. Pinch their middles out to make them bushy .
Sowing advice
Sow after last frost in spring and summer.
Sow where they are to grow or sow in cell packs
Cover seed 2cm deep and if sowing where they are to grow, sow them 25 cm apart.
Germination will take 7-14 days at 20 – 22 deg C.
