Zinnia Scarlet Flame is a lovely old heirloom variety which has stood the test of time and is still popular today. It has handsome double and semi double 12-14 cm scarlet-red flowers on long straight stems which are ideal for cutting.
It blooms well in the garden and the blooms last for a long time. Scarlet has stood the test of time , is still well loved and is still an excellent cut flower. If you plant her in groups in your garden they will make a bright splash of colour and accentuate other plantings, by forming a contrasting splash against your colour pallet.
We still have this lovely , shining gem blooming brightly in May here.
