This is a handsome plant to add architecture to a garden , having long  white  or cream spikes of flowers which can light up a dull garden especially if displayed against a dark background. It makes an imposing and stately plant for the garden and will fit in well with any colour scheme. It likes a dry spot  in the garden and can be used as a pretty pot plant.
