Picture thanks to Jelitto Seeds

This charming scabiosa has pretty pale lemon yellow long stemmed flowers which are produced non stop from December through into autumn. The plant is undemanding and needs little care,  and the flowers are attractive to beneficial insects.  They  are excellent cut.

Sowing advice

Sow in Spring and Summer.Sow in seed trays or pots.  Sow  into a moist well-drained seed compost. Cover very thinly as the seeds need light to germinate. Propagate at 18 -23 deg C. Germination takes 5-14 days. Transplant seedlings once large enough at 35-40 cm apart after danger of frost has passed.
