Description
This plant forms a low mound of green leaves from which grow many dense clusters of bright pink flowers which make excellent cut flowers and attract the bees and butterflies. It will grow in full sun to partly shaded locations.
Sowing advice for Silene
Sow in spring and summer in trays or pots.Sow on the surface of moist seed raising mix. Don’t cover the seeds as light is required for germination. Water from the bottom of the pot to keep moist. Ideal temp 20-22 deg C. Germination takes 10-14 days
