This ranunculus has large rose flowers absolutely packed with petals.  Each petal has fine striped picotee black edges and the centre of the flower appears black where the petals have not yet unfurled. The plant produces long stemmed flowers abundantly and is an unusual and lovely ranunculus.

Note: 10 seeds in packet

Sowing advice

Sow the seeds on moist seed raising mix, at the end of autumn  or beginning of winter when the temperatures have fallen to about 14 deg C in the middle of the day or lower .  It can go down to lower temps at night which won’t bother them a bit.  Don’t cover them, just press a small shallow hole with finger  into the mix which will stop the seed from floating away when you water it, and put a seed into the divot. Keep the seeds in cool conditions in full sun. Keep them moist but not soggy. They should germinate in about 2-3 weeks.
