This plant has a colour range of red , purple to black flowers , and each flower has a rim of a gold to silver border . It is a a very beautiful flower and one of the first of the spring flowers. It makes an excellent container plant.

Sowing advice
Plant in summer and autumn. Sow in trays or pots in moist seed raising mix and dont cover , just press seed into lightly firmed mix, as light is needed for germination. Propagate at 20 deg C .
