Description
This is a very pretty mixture of soft salmon, cream, yellow, pink and white . Phlox make very good cut flowers and do well outside in the garden. This series has plants which exhibit smaller bushier forms than the grandiflora variety but have all of the other qualities including having the lovely flower heads which gardeners enjoy. The blooms are softly fragrant
Sowing advice
Sow in spring and early summer. Sow in seed trays or pots
Care: Sow 15mm deep into moist well-drained seed raising mix. Cover lightly with seed raising mix . Propagate at 13-15°C. Germination takes 10-21 days. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to 8cm pots. Pinch out growing points when the plant is 8cm tall to encourage a bushy habit. Plant out as the weather warms with 25cm spacing. Can be sown directly where they are to flower in early summer.
