Sowing advice
We find it best to sow the seeds on the surface of moist cell pots, just one or 2 seeds to a cell pot. Use a good quality seed raising mix which is sterilised. Don’t cover the seeds as light is required for germination. Water the seeds from the bottom of the pot or use a mister to avoid driving the seeds under the soil. transplant to a larger pot as soon as the seedling can be handled as they don’t like their roots disturbed. Plant outside after all frost has passed. Beware of snails and slugs which love them!
