Oenothera speciosa ‘Copper Canyon’ seeds – ( Evening Primrose)

Description

This evening primrose has beautiful large clear pink blooms which fade towards the end of the day to dusky red before closing up. The flowers are fragrant.

Sowing advice

Sow in late winter-spring under cover. Surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed raising mix. Just cover seed with a sprinkling of soil. Cover with glass or pastic to maintain humidity. Ideal temp. 10-15°C. Germination takes 2-3 weeks approx. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to 8cm pots and grow on. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed.
