Description
Picture thanks to Johnny Seeds
This annual plant has bright lavender flowers in whorls which have nice straight ,thin strong stems. It makes a very unusual and easy-to-use cut flower, which works well with most colours.
The blooms and leaves are edible, though the leaves have a strong spicy flavour, so use them with care . Its other common names are lemon bee balm, purple horsemint, and lemon mint.
