Description

This is a tall attractive ornamental grass with an open habit which has very slender arching branches which bear very airy delicate flowers in summer. The stems start off green , then change to a purple-brown before finally turning golden in the summer and autumn. The plant is attractive in all of the seasons and works well in a naturalized setting as well as in a border where its clumps of slightly weeping stems will combine well with any perennial.
