Description
Limonium ‘QIS Dark Blue’ is a nice dark blue, which goes well with most colours . It is an excellent cut flower, lasting for a long time, as well as performing very well in the garden where it flowers its heart out for the summer. It is also used as a dried flower.
Sowing advice
Sow in spring summer and autumn. Sow in seed trays or pots , direct seeding not recommended.
Surface sow onto moist well-drained seed raising mix. Cover very lightly with mix as light assists with germination. Ideal temp. 18-21C. Germination takes 7-14 days. Transplant seedlings when true leaves appear, to cell packs and grow on in cooler conditions. Acclimatise and plant out once danger of frost has passed with 50cm spacing.
