Geranium pratense ‘Striatum’ seeds – ( Geranium Splish Splash)


This is a very pretty easy care hardy geranium whose white flowers are splashed in a random way with lavender blue as if painted by an impressionist.

This very attractive geranium has white petals which are often striped, flecked or splashed with lavender-blue making it seem like an artists flower which has been freshly painted. It is a small clump forming geranium which is much more compact than other hardy geraniums and makes a lovely garden border plant. It is a hardy easy care plant which will withstand quite severe frosts.

Sowing advice
Sow seeds in moist seed raising mix and cover lightly. keep at approx 18-20 degrees for the first 2-4 weeks. After this period keep the seeds at between -4- +4 deg C ( fridge works well) for 4-6 weeks.Then bring the seeds out and propagate at 5-12 deg C.
