Dianthus ‘Lemon Fizz’ has creamy yellow fully double flowers on 60 cm stems. It is an excellent flower for cutting , being a colour which blends well with other flower colours. It can be grown in a pot , where it relishes the free drainage, as long as it is kept watered. Dianthus ‘Lemon Fizz’ has flowers which produce a lovely clove like fragrance and the petals can be used in cooking or for decoration on salads or cakes.
Sowing advice
Sow in spring and autumn in pots or trays.
Cover very lightly with seed mix, as light aids germination. Keep moist but not wet and at approx 20 deg C. Germination takes 2-3 weeks
