This is a non-fading or much reduced fading type of Daucus carota.   It has pink to burgundy-red flowers throughout the bloom season, and is a much sought after variety as a specialty cutflower and is also a pretty filler in the garden. It has nicely aromatic , ferny carrot foliage, and bees and butterflies love it.

Sowing advice for Daucus

Sow in spring, and autumn in warmer areas. Sow directly where they are to grow or in pots or trays
Chill seed at 5-8°C for 1-2 weeks prior to sowing under glass. Cooler temperatures of 14-17°C are best for seedling establishment. If sown under glass, when first true leaves appear, transplant into larger containers. Harden off and transplant outdoors after last frost.
