Description
An eye-catching small bushy annual plant which has bright red flowers with intense yellow centres all summer long. It is good for the front of border and can be used as an attractive container plant. Easy to grow and requires very little care. Grow in full sun and moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Deadhead to prolong flowering
Sowing advice
Sow in spring early summer, late summer and autumn.
Sow in pots or trays or direct where they are to grow
Sow indoors prior to the last expected frost or sow direct after all danger of frost has passed. Indoors sow into moist, well-drained seed raising mix. Just cover with a sprinkling of soil. Ideal temp 21 deg C. Germination takes 1-2 weeks.
Direct sow into moist well drained soil, keep moist until plants are established
