This plant has brilliant bright blue flowers which are replaced by others each day. It flowers in the first year from seed, continuously from early summer until autumn  and makes a well branched plant for borders  and containers

 

Sowing advice

Sow seeds in seed raising mix, in pots or trays. Cover very thinly as light is required for germination.  Keep moist at about 16-18 deg C. They can take from 1-3 months to germinate. Keep in cooler conditions once they have germinated. transplant when large enough to handle to pots and plant out after all danger of frost has passed.
