This is an very attractive and unusual aster. It has deep dazzling shimmering purple – blue flowers which are ringed with outer petals of pinks and white. It grows to about 60 cm and is very free flowering bearing blooms all summer. It makes a great cutflower and adds a dash of shimmering blue to a cut flower bouquet. It looks great in a pot if you provide it with plenty of nourishment and water.
