This Angelica has handsome foliage and fascinating flowers. The large round flowering buds open to large hemispherical, dark, reddish-purple colored flowers. Lush and handsome foliage which is tropical-looking. It will reseed in the garden. Considered to be an eye-catching architectural plant either alone or in small groups.
Sowing advice
Can be sown at any time. Sow seeds into moist compost, barely cover with mix as they germinate best in light. Put the tray into a sealed plastic bag to conserve moisture and store them in a fridge at 4°C for 30 days, then move them to the warmth of around 18°C to germinate. They germinate irregularly over several months.
