This very attractive anemone likes dappled shade  and moist soil, in a woodland setting, but will also take full sun.  The bright white flowers with blue backs, have blue stamens which set it apart from other anemones. The plant produces a clump of mid green ferny leaves and the beautiful unusual flowers arise from the leaves and form well above them. It makes a nice display when grown in drifts .It makes an excellent container plant.
