This anemone mixture has pretty, single, white to rose pink flowers in late summer and flowering into autumn. It is a valuable plant for the garden as it flowers profusely, giving a lovely, slightly aetherial display , just as the rest of the garden is beginning to look past its best. Also, as a bonus, Anemone ‘Rose Beauty’ makes a good cut flower . It dies down in the winter , coming back again in the spring with dark green leaves in a nice rounded bush. These plants are undemanding and easy care. They will grow in many situations from partial shade to full sunlight.
Sowing advice
Sow in spring early summer and autumn
Sow into cell pots in moist seed raising mix
Cover the seeds with approx. 2mm of seed raising mix. Put them in a warm place approx. 20 deg C. They should germinate in about 4 weeks. If they don’t germinate after 4 weeks, then put the pot into a sealed plastic bag and put into the fridge for 4 weeks. Bring them out to about 15-18 deg C for germination
