Alcea rosea ‘Red and Pink Mix ‘ – ( Hollyhock)

Description

This mixture contains a colour range of deep to light reds and pink flowers.  If you plant them early enough in spring they will flower in the first year for you.

This alcea performs well in most situations, and its tall  single flowers  are produced abundantly in the second year.  The plant dies down in winter,  to a small rosette in warm temperatures and in cold ones will lose its leaves entirely. It will re-emerge  in spring , and the flowers are very beautiful.  Plant them along paths to provide a nice outline  and fences to show off their beauty .
