This plant has very pretty pale cobalt blue flowers which of a good size . The flowers are produced on well branched heads in statuesque pyramids, with many side shoots to show off their beauty , and the dark green glossy foliage is also very attractive. This plant belongs to the Wilsonii group, whose plants are more branched than other aconitums. It will die down in winter , but comes up again reliably in spring .
They make excellent cut flowers, but be careful of the cut ends.
Note that all parts of this plant are poisonous
