Verbascum phoeniceum ‘Violetta’ plants

There are just a few of these plants in 8cm pots. $7 per plant. They are available for pickup only at 449 Sandringham Road Tues- Fri 10am-2pm.

This plant is a shorter form of verbascum which suits many smaller gardens better than some of the taller verbascum forms. It blooms reliably every year and has lovely rich dark purple flowers held on thin airy graceful spires. If you deadhead the flowers it will rebloom for you. Grow this plant in well drained soils which are not too rich in compost. It is drought tolerant and will self seed in the garden.
