This plant is a valuable garden specimen which should be grown more .  It has  lovely dark pink to red flowers on dark green ferny leaves. When grown in a group these plants are extremely attractive, and eye-catching, being a flower rarely grown. Beneficial insects love the daisies which will appear in the spring of the  second year of growing.  It makes an excellent cut flower, and performs well in containers.  If you cut the spring flowering back it will rebloom again for you in late summer .
