Scabiosa atropurpurea ‘Salmon Rose’ seeds – ( Annual pincushion)

Description

This is a very pretty annual pincushion flower having lovely coral- salmon flowers on strong but slender stems.It makes a good cut flower, and will form a nice bush to about 60 cm.

Sowing advice

Sow 4-6 weeks before last frost indoors in pots or trays in moist seed raising mix. Keep at 18 – 21 deg C. Sprinkle with mix very lightly as light aids germination. Germination will occur in 10-12 days. Transplant to cell packs or larger containers when the first true leaves appear. Plant oudtside after the last frost.
