Description

This strain of Scabious is excellent, both the garden border and for the production of particularly high quality cut flowers.

This scabiosa has large, well formed salmon coloured blooms up to 5cm wide, on long, strong stems, which have a very regular height.

Butterflies are attracted these pretty , sweetly fragrant, easy-to-grow, hardy annuals. they are quite fast growing, and bloom profusely . They produce double flowers approx 5 cm wide, borne on on tall, strong stems. They flower from summer into early autumn, and will give their beautiful best to your summer border and supply you with some excellent cut flowers.

Sowing advice

Sow in Spring, early summer late summer and early autumn in seed trays or pots, into a moist well-drained seed compost. Cover very thinly as the seeds need light to germinate. Propagate with gentle heat at 18 -23 deg C. Germination takes 5-14 days. Transplant seedlings once large enough at 35-40 cm apart.
