This scabiosa is an excellent bright red flowering plant which is great for cutting and performs well in the garden. Use it in groups to add a splash of colour to your border and the sense of depth to the garden. I t blooms its heart out over the early summer months and if you trim it back lightly after flowering it will reward you with another flush of flowers in the late summer
