This sage grows naturally in woodland areas. It is a sage mentioned in ancient hebrew writing, and is used for its medicinal qualities. It is one of the few sages which actually don’t mind some shade. It will flower in the 2nd year after growing from seed, and has superb long stems of purple flowers on dark stems . It makes an attractive cut flower
Sowing advice
Sow into pots or tray on moist seed raising mix . Cover very lightly with mix as the seeds require light to germinate, and keep moist.
