This is a sturdy first year flowering rudbeckia. It has lovely large, bright yellow flowers which have an inner halo of darker gold, with green button centres. It flowers in the first year and makes an excellent container plant.
Sowing advice
Sow in trays or pots on the surface of moist seed raising mix.
Just cover with a fine layer of seed mix. Propagate 18-20°C. Keep soil moist but not wet. Germination takes 10-15 days. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to 8cm pots. Grow on in cooler conditions. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed with 45cm spacing.
