This annual phlox has creamy buttery flowers which work well with all coloured flowers.  they make excellent cut flowers and are lovely in the garden as well, having a sweet scent and producing blooms abundantly.

Sowing advice

Sow indoors 1.5mm deep into moist well-drained seed compost. Exclude light. Propagate at 18-20°C. Germination takes 10-21 days. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to 8cm pots. Pinch out growing points when the plant is 8cm tall to encourage a bushy habit. Plant out as the weather warms with 25cm spacing. Can be sown where they are to flower from Apr-May.
