Description
This plant has attractive scarlet coloured flowers. It is drought tolerant and can be used in xeriscaping, and erosion control, and also performs well in a pot. It also makes a good cut flower.
Sowing advice
Sow to moist seed raising mix in pots or trays. Keep warm and moist for the first 4 weeks. After that seal the pot in a plastic bag and put into the fridge for 6 weeks. After this cold period take off the plastic bag and bring the pot out to temps between 5- 12 Deg C. when germination should happen.
