Mimulus x hybridus ‘Twinkle Mix’ – ( Monkey flower)

Description

This is a small very low maintenance plant which has brightly coloured clear flowers , but also will include some  spotted ones. This form is a compact spreading ,early flowering one, which looks good in hanging baskets, but performs well in the garden as well. If you are looking for a plant which will grow in partial shade , then this is a good one with its bright flowers. It relishes damp places

Sowing advice

Plant indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Sow on the surface of moist seed raising mix. Do not cover, as light is required for germination. Germination takes 7-21 days at about 15-20 deg C. Keep the seeds moist. Once they have germinated lower the temperature to  about 10-15 deg C.
