Description
This pretty pale blue statice is especially good as a cut and also a dried flower. It is a good garden plant as well and the colour goes with most colour schemes.
Sowing advice
Sow in spring summer and autumn. Sow in seed trays or pots , direct seeding not recommended.
Surface sow onto moist well-drained seed raising mix. Cover very lightly with mix as light assists with germination. Ideal temp. 18-21C. Germination takes 7-14 days. Transplant seedlings when true leaves appear, to cell packs and grow on in cooler conditions. Acclimatise and plant out once danger of frost has passed with 50cm spacing
