Limonium sinuatum ‘Purple Attraction’ seeds – ( Annual Statice)

Description

This annual statice has pretty  purple flowers produced on long strong  stems  in abundance during summer and into autumn.  It works well in floral arrangements.  Like all of the annual statices, it is prized for its cut and dried flowers by all floral artists.

Sowing advice

Sow in spring summer and autumn. Sow in seed trays or pots , direct seeding not recommended.
Surface sow onto moist well-drained seed raising mix. Cover very lightly with mix as light assists with germination. Ideal temp. 18-21C. Germination takes 7-14 days. Transplant seedlings when true leaves appear, to cell packs and grow on in cooler conditions. Acclimatise and plant out once danger of frost has passed with 50cm spacing
