This is a compact lavender with small purple flowers offset beautifully with white flags on top . It grows to about 35cm and looks good in a pot or in the garden. It flowers in the first year from seed, about 4 months after germination.
Sowing advice
Sow in spring, summer or autumn. Sow in trays or pots onto moist seed raising mix
Cover very lightly, as light assists their germination.
Germination takes approx 2 weeks at 20°C. If there is no germination in 4 weeks cover the pot with plastic to conserve moisture, and put inthe fridge for 6 weeks. Bring out to the warmth, and remove the plastic. Transplant when large enough to 8cm pots, and plant out when all danger of frost has gone.
