Description
This is a special mix of the most fragrant varieties of Sweet Pea. The vine which climbs to about 3m produces lovely ruffled and also some non ruffled blooms. The flowers come in many pretty colours pink, cream, white with picotee, and lavender., and flake, which are excellent as a cut flower having long straight stems as well as being intensely perfumed.
Sowing advice
Sow in spring or autumn. Sow directly where they are to grow or sow in cell pots. Sow 2cm deep into prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth, or sow in cell pots 2 to a cell. Cover with soil/mix. Keep the soil well-watered. Germination will occur in 14-21 days at 13-18degC. Pinch when about 15 cm tall to encourage branching and more flowers.. Mulch soil to keep roots cool. Space plants about 15cm apart . Support is needed.
