This mix contains many different lettuce types , from our supplier who breeds his own lettuces, and you won’t be disappointed. There are   lettuces with names like  “Buffon,” “Karen’s Fave,” “Fuzz Butt,” and “Twisted,”  and others, the picture shows a few of them.

Sowing advice

Sow in trays or pots or direct .  Sow  in early spring , late spring and  early summer, late summer and early autumn. Sow on the surface of seed raising mix. Don’t cover them as light is required for germination.  Just press them into the soil a little.  Keep moist and at about 20 deg C.  they should germinate in about 10 days.. Plant them out when they are about 7 cm tall.
