This is an excellent mix of red gold and bronze flowered plants. They bloom from early summer to autumn attracting all of the beneficial insects., and flower in their first year from seed. Cut the dead heads for continuous bloom. They are drought resistant once they are well established , and make an excellent cut flower.  They can also be used for large scale landscape planting.

Sowing advice

Can be sown at any time, but best sown 4-6 weeks before the last  frost. Sow in seed trays or pots
Sow indoors onto a moist well-drained seed compost. Cover very thinly as the seeds need light to germinate. Propagate with gentle heat at 18 -23 deg C. Germination takes 2-3 weeks. Transplant seedlings once large enough to small pots and grow on . When  large enough transplant  to the garden after acclimatising them .
