This pretty plant has received the award of garden merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.

It has pale cream flowers which have darker veins, and sometimes the inside of the bellshaped flowers are netted with darker veins as well. It blooms in mid to late spring. It likes  a cool partly shaded spot in humus enriched soil. It will grow well in cooler areas so will do well in the South island, and cooler parts of the North Island.
