This is a very old variety of smaller wallflower plant which has been used of old in garden beds. This plant has lovely dark red velvet flowers with a fragrant wallflower scent which bees and butterflies love. It has a neat compact habit of growth making it perfect for smaller beds and front of border.
Sowing advice
Sow in autumn and spring. Sow the seeds onto moist seed raising mix, in pots or trays. Just cover them with a thin layer of mix. Keep them moist at about 20 deg C. They should germinate in about 10 days.
