Erysimum chieri ‘Sugar Rush Purple Bicolour’ seeds – ( Wallflower)

Description

This is an F1 hybrid wallflower which grows to a bushy 25cm high and approx 25 cm wide.   It has purple, lavender or violet bicolour flowers, which are produced in the spring, and it will re-flower for you in the autumn.  It does not need cooler temperatures to flower, but can withstand frosty cold conditions. It grows well in containers where it benefits from the good drainage that pots provide.

Sowing advice

Sow the seeds on the surface of moist seed raising mix in pots or trays.

Cover with a thin layer of soil. Propagate or place somewhere warm, Ideal temp is 20°C. Keep moist but do not waterlog. Germination should  take between  7 to 10 days. Transplant to  8cm pots when large enough to handle, and plant out after all danger of frost has gone.
