Description
This is a deliciously fragrant, richly coloured wallflower collection in shiraz to scarlet red, toffee apple orange caramel , galliano golds and burgundy purples. They will flower in the spring if you sow them in autumn, and again in the following autumn. They like a sunny position in well drained soil , and are very easy to grow from seed.
The seed packet contains a mix of the following:
Wallflower ‘Fire King’
Wallflower ‘Cloth of gold’
Wallflower ‘Sugar Rush Purple Bicolour’
Sowing advice
Sow the seeds in spring and autumn on good quality seed raising mix in pots or trays, or they can also be sown direct where they are to grow. Cover the seeds lightly with mix, and keep moist but not wet. Ideal temperature is 20 deg C. Seeds should germinate in about 7-10 days . Transplant to 8cm pots when large enough to handle, and plant out after all danger of frost has gone.
