This foxglove has attractive beige apricot/red brown flowers, which many people consider to be very like the flower of a penstemon. It is a low growing plant which likes well drained soil and can tolerate partial shade. Digitalis obscura makes an excellent cut flower and the seed stalks are also useful for dried arrangements.
