Craspedia ‘Sunny Ball’ has lovely bright yellow 2.5 cm round flowers on long 70cm stems . They make wonderful fresh cut flowers, and will also dry well for you to include in dried arrangements . Gather them when they are completely golden coloured for cutting.
Sowing advice
Sow in early spring,6-8 weeks before the last frost and also in summer
Sow in trays or pots onto the surface of moist seed raising mix . Don’t cover or cover very lightly as they need light to germinate.
Germination takes 7-10 days at 21-24°C. Transplant when large enough approx 30cm apart.
