Description
Cosmos ‘Xanthos’ is a pretty delicate pale yellow cosmos which has slightly ruffled flowers with a dark yellow eye. It is very productive producing many blooms on a compact plant. Cosmos ‘Xanthos’ flowers early in the summer and continues on to autumn. It makes a great cut flower and can also be used in pots on the patio due to its stature which is a smaller height than normal cosmos.
Sowing advice
Sow in spring early summer, late summer and autumn. Sow in pots or trays or direct where they are to grow
Sow indoors prior to the last expected frost or sow direct after all danger of frost has passed. Indoors sow into moist, well-drained seed raising mix. Just cover with a sprinkling of soil. Ideal temp 21 deg C. Germination takes 1-2 weeks.
Direct sow into moist well drained soil, keep moist until plants are established
