This plant has semi double yellow 5cm  frilled  flowers  borne from spring  through until the first frost. It flowers in the first year from seed, about 4-5 months after germination.

It is an easy care plant which can grow in partial shade ,  is drought tolerant and will grow in poor soils. It grows well in the garden and is a good container plant.  It is attractive to bees and butterflies.

It has won three prestigious awards:  The Award of Garden Merit from the RHS , an AAS award and a Fleuroselect prize.
